Welcome to the International Conference on Primary Health Care!
The International Institute for Primary Health Care (IPHC-E) in collaboration with the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH-E) and supported by the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health is thrilled to announce the upcoming conference on PHC. The Conference follows the successful pre-conference that was attended by more than 500 participants from over 80 countries.
This conference is designed to provide our participants with an interactive and engaging experience featuring keynote plenary panels, concurrent workshop sessions, roundtable discussions, lightning paper sessions, a poster and exhibit hall and much more. The overall goal of the conference is to facilitate attainment of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the health-related SDG’s by strengthening the PHC movement globally.

This two day event took place virtually in September 2022, featuring 18 speakers and attended by more than 500 participants. The theme for the two-day virtual pre-conference was Primary Health Care in the face of a changing world: the past, present, future, as well as challenges and opportunities for financing PHC. I am a student; can I still attend this conference?
- Yes, we welcome the participation of all those interested or involved in building up primary health care. Our target audience for this conference include: high level officials from ministries of health, PHC leaders, senior representatives of UN agencies and international organizations, bilateral and multilateral organizations, researchers and scientists, health workers, civil society organizations, academia, professional associations, health ambassadors, philanthropies, Africa CDC, consortia, and private sector organizations.
Why is registration limited to 300 participants?
